Profile
Our aim at Whitefriar’s Creche and Montessori is to provide your child with a safe, secure, environment, where they can grow and develop at their own pace, and where they are guided and encouraged to reach their full potential. As well as taking care of the basic need and ensuring that they are happy and settled, we offer them a sense of continuity and encourage their independence.
Our staff’s extensive experience and knowledge of childcare, this ensures that your child will have the freedom to grow, learn and explore in safety and encourage their sense of curiosity and adventure. We strive to provide the highest standards of care and education for all children, no matter what their age and ability. Whitefriar’s Creche and Montessori also believes that all children, no matter what their sex, colour, ethnic origin, culture, religion or disability, are entitled to the same high standards of care and education.
We also provide an afterschool service
We cater for babies, wobblers, toddlers and Montessori.
The Montessori room (three years – five years approx) is run by fully qualified Montessori teachers with the skills to communicate with the children in a constructive and fun way. The class is there to develop the individuality of your child and to meet their social, motional, physical and learning needs. There is also plenty of time after the class for your child to have fun activities such as arts & crafts, music and movement, painting, free and outdoor fun.
