Welcome to the Clare Elizabeth Crèche. Where you leave your child during the day is likely to have a major influence on him or her in the formative years of life. Therefore, you need to choose with care and consideration.
The Clare Elizabeth Crèche was established in 1985 by Clare Elizabeth Power and from the beginning has focused on providing a secure and loving environment for children in the original Power family home. The Clare Elizabeth Crèche has grown to become a well-known Bray establishment and is now managed by Caroline Boyle. It is situated in a quiet area of Bray, a short walk from the town and the DART station.
We offer full-time care for children from 12 months of age until they go on to primary school. We also offer a free sessional Montessori morning group under the ECCE scheme. For junior and senior infants we have an after-school service and we run holiday camps during school holidays.
The Clare Elizabeth Crèche attributes its success to our highly qualified, loyal and hardworking staff and believe that if staff are happy and engaged, the children are in turn well cared for and nurtured, which results in happy parents. Many of our staff have been with us for several years and we have a very low rate of staff changeover. This ensures stability and security for all the children who build strong and loving relationships with their carers.
We welcome children to our wobbler room from twelve months of age. We have a cosy wobbler suite comprising of a playroom, sleep room and changing room on the first floor of the house. Here our youngest children have lots of one-to-one care and interaction with their carers. Weather permitting we bring the wobblers for walks in buggies and to play in the garden outside.
Moving on from the wobbler room the children progress through the toddler room, the the juniors and then the seniors. As the children grow with us they are encouraged to be independent, confident and well-rounded individuals.
The children are outdoors as much as possible, walking to the beach and the library and sometimes taking trips further afield to Greystones and Dun Laoghaire. They are often spotted walking around Bray in their distinctive high-visibility vests and red hats.
The Clare Elizabeth Crèche provides a happy, fun-filled and safe environment, where the children are mentally and physically stimulated, emotionally satisfied and well nourished.
