Childcare providers – beware of new scam to try to defruad your childcare business

Several childcare providers have reported this scam to us recently.

If you get the below email, simply delete and ignore it. Basically if you engage the fraudster will send you a cheque and at a later date ask for a refund of the (then already cancelled) cheque. Spread the word.

“Hello

I and my 2 kids will be visiting . What are the age bracket you
handle I do not know if a short time care like taking care of my kids
for 2 weeks.

I have a special program that will make me so occupy, this will take
place not too far from you, I will be glad to drop my kids with you.

Let me know the minimum numbers of hours you offer and your charging rate

I await your prompt response.
